AKASYA on Bold Street has gone from strength to strength since opening in the Summer of 2021 on the eclectic Bold Street in Liverpool City Centre.

Located in the former home of noted designer boutique, Giancarlo Ricci, AKASYA’s prominent location on Bold Street has seen it become a welcome addition to one of the City’s best food and drink locations.

Now the owners of the Turkish restaurant, AKASYA, are pleased to announce they have now been ranked in the top 10% of restaurants in the World on Tripadvisor.

The Travellers’ Choice, formerly Certificate of Excellence, recognizes businesses that earn consistently great reviews. Travellers’ Choice award-winners are among the top 10% of listings on Tripadvisor Worldwide. Tripadvisor awards the Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best to restaurants with a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from their community over a 12-month period. Each winner has passed rigorous trust and safety standards set by Tripadvisor. Fewer than 1% of Tripadvisor’s 8 million listings are awarded Best of the Best, signifying the highest level of excellence.

Owner of AKASYA, Yunus Emre Uğur, said: 'We have been number 1 on Tripadvisor in Liverpool for some time now and the reviews have grown and grown. Top spot from over 1,500 restaurants in Liverpool has been a great achievement for us. What Are The Travellers’ Choice Awards & How Are Winners Selected?

Travellers’ Choice winners are determined based on the quality and quantity of traveller reviews and ratings posted on Tripadvisor over a 12-month period.
