The Port Sunlight Panto is BACK!: The Gladstone Theatre Brings ‘Beauty & The Beast' Panto To Life - Hollyoaks star is joined by local Wirral actress and Scouse powerhouse on stage this Christmas to tell a timeless tale!

Dreamworld Entertainments are thrilled to announce its highly anticipated pantomime production of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ at The Gladstone Theatre, Port Sunlight, from the 8th to the 31st of December 2023.


After last year’s record breaking ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’, this enchanting show promises to captivate audiences of all ages, with its magical transformations, popular songs, and hilarious comedy.

Starring in the lead role of Bella is the incredibly talented triple theatre actress, Melissa Weston. Hailing from the local Wirral area, Melissa brings her exceptional skills and beautiful charisma to the stage, ensuring a mesmerising performance that will leave audiences spellbound.


Returning to the stage after a year hiatus is audience favourite Hollyoaks’ star, Darren John Langford, who will portray the villainous Gaston. Darren’s previous performances have garnered him a dedicated fan base, and his portrayal of Gaston is sure to be a highlight of the show.


Adding to the talented cast and bringing the laughs is Liverpool’s favourite comedian and comic actor, Lenny Wood, who has also appeared in the ITV Drama Series ‘Anne’. Lenny will be appearing as ‘Le Fool’ and with his comedic timing and infectious energy; he will be sure to have the audience in stitches throughout the performance.


The Scouse Powerhouse and Diva extraordinaire, Shania Pain, will grace the stage once again this year, so expect bigger costumes, even more witty one-liners and as always jaw dropping vocals. Shania’s presence is guaranteed to elevate this production to new heights.
