The Liverpool City Region's Bordeaux Wine Experience Tickets Are Now On Sale
Across four fabulous days this Summer, over the extended Bank Holiday weekend, Liverpool will come alive with a brand-new festival, Taste Liverpool's Drink Bordeaux, which perfectly coincides with the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations across Thursday the 2nd until Sunday the 5th of June.
Taste Liverpool Drink Bordeaux is set to be the most delicious weekend of the year. Featuring an array of free activities including immersive takeovers by leading restaurateur and chefs, cookery demonstrations and food inspired cultural events, many restaurants will also offer special festival menus to create a unique visitor experience for locals and tourists alike.
Limited early bird tickets at £18.00 per adult for the Bordeaux Wine Experience are now on sale, taking place at the palatial Town Hall. Here, French flair will meet Scouse style with a touch of theatre for all to enjoy, blending the classic appeal of the breath-taking building with modern flourishes, including a DJ and MC.
As the only UK city to host the famous Bordeaux Wine Festival, it is a huge honour for the prestigious event to be back in the Liverpool City Region as part of the forthcoming Jubilee celebrations.
The iconic Bordeaux Region has over 6,000 vineyards producing a sumptuous array of red, white, sparkling and rosé wines, from affordable bottles through to special occasion vintages.
The Bordeaux Wine Experiences will run from midday each day, with the last session taking place from 7:30pm which includes:
Six tasting glasses of Bordeaux wine
A complimentary Bordeaux wine glass
Entrance to wine masterclasses throughout the day
The opportunity to talk to the world’s finest wine producers
Bordeaux Wine Experiences tickets can be booked on Thursday 2nd – Sunday 5th June from midday and the last session that can be booked is from 7:30pm.
Julia Huf, Taste Liverpool Drink Bordeaux’s Project Director, says: 'It’s a truly fantastic moment for Liverpool to be the only UK city hosting the Bordeaux Wine Festival in 2022 as part of our most delicious weekend of the year at Taste Liverpool. Drink Bordeaux.'
She added: 'This is the most famous wine-producing region in the world and they will be showcasing some of their fabulous drinks during our Bordeaux Wine Experience at each day of the festival.'
The Early Bird tickets are £18.00 (plus booking fee), the General release tickets are £20.00 (plus booking fee) and tickets On The Day will be £25.00.
The festival will take place in the heart of the Liverpool City Region from Thursday the 2nd of June to Sunday the 5th of June 2022.
