St Helens Theatre Royal's Christmas Panto Proves A Great Success With The Most Guests Welcomed – Starring Rising Talent, Chantelle Morgan As Snow White & Pop Legend Maureen Nolan

Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs becomes St Helens Theatre Royal’s most popular ever pantomime.
All-star cast led by Chantelle Morgan and Maureen Nolan entertains more than 40,000 guests over the festive break.
St Helens Theatre Royal is celebrating its most successful ever pantomime – oh yes, it is!
Pop legend Maureen Nolan and Coronation Street’s Emrhys Cooper led a stellar cast in Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs, which welcomed more than 40,000 theatregoers over its six-week seasonal run.
The fantastic festive figure is 2,500 higher than the same time last year and cements Snow White as St Helens’ biggest and best panto production to date.
Maureen and Emrhys were joined by a brilliant line-up of including Leanne Campbell, who appeared digitally as the Magic Mirror. The Liverpudlian has also previously covered the talented newcomer, Chantelle Morgan as Snow White, and St Helens’ favourites Lewis Devine as Muddles, and Richard Aucott as Nurse Nelly.

Regal Entertainments Ltd, which stages the hugely popular seasonal shows at the theatre, also enlisted the help of some very special local legends to voice the roles of the Dwarfs – with the magnificent seven comprised of Johnny Vegas, Joel Ross, Pete Price, Philip Regan (Queen of Scotty Road), Craig Phillips, Louis Emerick and John May.

The cast were joined by a superb supporting company of future West End stars from Nazene Danielle’s School of Dance – Dance Dynamix.

St Helens Theatre Royal History
St Helens Theatre Royal was designed by British Theatre Architect, Frank Matcham, from Devon, also responsible for the Hippodrome in London, Buxton Opera House, and the Edwardian His Majesty's Theatre in Scotland.
The Theatre Royal was completed in 1901, at the start of the 20th Century during the Reign of Edward VII. It is the principal theatre in St Helens and has recently been renovated internally and externally with a modern glass exterior.
St Helens Theatre Royal has a large capacity and stages many performances, including comedy, music, drama and excellent Christmas pantomime. The theatre provides a wide variety of entertainment from top class comedians to musical shows.
