Based in the busy area of Hardman Street, which has an established reputation for great bars, restaurants and nightlife venues, Beer Engine has earned its place as a laidback space.

The bar has become the perfect spot to enjoy chilled beers, drinks and food in a relaxed setting. Now celebrating five years in the business, Beer Engine has been a huge hit within the trade as a sports venue, hosting major football, boxing and UFC fights.

Enjoying a large, open plan space across three levels, Beer Engine is all about having a good time, and offers a unique service by staying open until 6 am every day of the week, enabling clients to have a weekday catch up, a fun evening out or a late night chill-out.

Beer Engine also prides itself on its popular menu, which offers great value to visitors. From Monday-Thursday all food is 50% off between 12 - 6 pm, where customers can choose between favourites such as breakfasts, to pizzas cooked from scratch from Beer Engine’s own pizza ovens.

Every Friday from 5:30pm until 7:30pm, Beer Engine also gives away a free burger with every drink purchased, which is a brilliant value promotion* (*One burger per drink purchased).

'We know as we head into the festive season that partygoers are searching for somewhere to have a great time which also offers them financial value - we are always mindful of this with our menus and promotions, too.' - Ruth Carmichael, Operations Director at Beer Engine.

Ruth Carmichael Operations Director at Beer Engine, said: 'We really enjoy a location which attracts clients from such a wide demographic, from students to city centre workers, theatregoers, friends enjoying a great day or evening out, or guests to the city region in search of a good time.'

Rush added: 'As a team our attitude is totally unpretentious: we are simply about serving a great selection of beers and drinks, with a wonderful value menu, and our special offers during weekdays mean you can enjoy a meal with a relaxing vibe with a much lower food bill. Our Friday burger offer also allows you to start the evening with a wholesome snack with your beer or beverage choice.'

She said: 'Our multiple screens have proved to be a huge draw for sports fans. In a city which is devoted to sport, our spacious surroundings mean you can relax and kick back whilst enjoying your favourite football team. Major boxing and UFC events have also been hugely popular in terms of pulling a crowd, and again, the fact that we have an open plan, airy feeling means you can watch in comfort whilst still soaking up the atmosphere.'

She added: 'We know as we head into the festive season that partygoers are searching for somewhere to have a great time which also offers them financial value - we are always mindful of this with our menus and promotions, too.'

Ruth, said: 'All we ask is that you leave any idea of a pretentious day or night out at the door - here at Beer Engine we are all about a laid back vibe, but always with attention to service provided by our welcoming team, so that you can have a great time from lunchtime to dusk until dawn.'
