Liverpool-based Sefton Collection group of companies are set to open a 3rd venue in Wolstenholme Square, taking their investment into the area up to £500,000, with a 4th venue scheduled for later in the summer.

The company, who already operate the popular Irish sports bar Dicey Reillys and Clubhouse dedicated event space, will open Baby Clubhouse at the end of March, a smaller event space to compliment the current offering. As well as an investment of over half a million pounds the new venues will create more than 10 new jobs for the Sefton Collection team.

The Clubhouse which opened during the middle of 2024 can accommodate 150 people on round tables on the ground floor, 60 people on round tables on the mezzanine level, 240 standing, 120 theatre style, 54 classroom style and 36 boardroom style. Large moveable screens are available and the venue boasts a state of the art sound system, and Baby Clubhouse can be booked independently or as an extension of guest requirements.

Baby Clubhouse is 150sq mtrs, has enjoyed a £150,000 investment and can accommodate small, medium or larger scale events from 10 guests to 100 dining and 120 standing.

The venue boasts a fully functioning 4 meter black quartz fully licenced bar and a well-appointed modern fitted kitchen and luxurious marble guest toilet facilities with brass fitting detail.

The floor to ceiling windows are softened with styish window dressing and modern and popular ice chairs are available for use. The venue has been designed using warm neutral tones and walnut features, with stylish fluted panelling, chevron flooring and opal effect tiling. As well as controllable designer feature lighting, Baby Clubhouse also benefits from a state of the art sound system and disco lighting installed as standard.

The Clubhouse and the new Baby Clubhouse have been designed with versatility in mind, to compliment each other and add a layer of sophistication to guest choice of venues.

“Whilst our investment into Wolstenholme Square currently stands at in excess of half a million pounds, we already have exciting plans for a fourth site later this year.” - Conor O’Donovan CEO of Sefton Collection.

Both venues are purpose built and designed event spaces under the hugely popular Ropewalks Hotel banner, operated by the Sefton Collection, bringing their total number of businesses operated in Wolstenholme Square to three. As well as opening Clubhouse in 2024, the Sefton Collection also opened the hugely popular Irish Sports Bar, Dicey Reilly’s, which has become a firm favourite for all sports fans, boasting 4 private booths, 10 screens, 1 giant screen and high definition surround sound.

With all bookings overseen by Ropewalks Hotels highly trained Operations team, the multi-functional event spaces are the perfect venues for everything from weddings and christenings to corporate conferences, book and product launches, retirement or promotion dinners, baby showers, birthday and anniversary celebrations and the ability to mix and match the venues for convenience, size, ambience make both venues unique and incredibly adaptable for the event market.
