Dessert specialists Fluffy Fluffy are bringing their viral sensation pancakes to Liverpool City Centre.

The Canadian-born brand, known for their famous Japanese Soufflé Pancakes, will open its fifth UK store on Berry Street in the Ropewalks neighbourhood of Liverpool City Centre. The 1500sq ft site is expected to open in early 2024 and will create 15+ new jobs in the City Region.

Every carefully crafted Fluffy Fluffy pancake begins with egg whites whipped to soft peaks which are then slowly cooked at low temperature to achieve the signature cloud-like pancakes, with their famous jiggle. These are then topped with an array of dreamy toppings. Favourites include Nutella, Tiramisu, Biscoff, Creme Brûlée and Blueberry.

The menu is all served up in Fluffy Fluffy’s trademark open kitchen so that guests can watch their light and fluffy pancakes created and covered in their favourite toppings, fresh to order.

The light and airy social space will feature the brand’s trademark yellow and white colourways and a mix of sofa-style booths, banquette seating and coffee tables. The bespoke bamboo-inspired joinery evokes the brand’s Japanese heritage whilst the bright colours and neon accents create a youthful feel and a modern classic aesthetic.

So far, 2023 has been Fluffy Fluffy’s biggest year to date, with three stores opening across the UK in Leicester, Reading and Leeds. Now team Fluffy Fluffy are ready to take Liverpool by storm.
