The cast of Aladdin including Warren Donnelly who plays PC Shameless, Tim Lucas who plays The Genie, as well as Jess Smith who plays the part of Princess Jasmine and Alex Aram who plays the role of Aladdin.


They are starring in the latest Pantomime, Aladdin, at St Helens Theatre Royal. The cast chatted about about their love for the characters they are playing, how wonderfully varied their careers are, as well as giving a fabulous feel to the panto experience that you will enjoy at the Theatre Royal for Aladdin.

Warren Donnelly has a varied career, from stage work to film and television. He will be playing the role of PC Shameless in Aladdin at St Helens Theatre Royal.

Tim has played a wide and varied collection of characters on stages across Theatreland, from Sammy Johnstone in Blood Brothers for the official UK & Ireland Tour throughout 2023, including at The Empire Theatre.


What's The Story About?

Take a ride on the all-new 3D interactive flying magic carpet ride this Christmas and be whisked off to pantoland where young street urchin Aladdin lives with his hapless brother Wishee Washee and larger-than-life mum Widow Twankey in their family laundry.


Then join the young hero as he battles the wicked Abanazer who has a dastardly plan to rule the world with the help of one very special lamp. Can Aladdin save the day - and can he also win the heart of the fair Princess Jasmine?


Who's Starring In The Panto?

Liam Fox and Leanne Campbell are joined by a hugely talented cast, which includes Theatre Royal favourites, Tim Lucas will play Genie of the Lamp, Warren Donnelly is PC Shameless, Lewis Devine is Wishee Washee and Richard Aucott is Widow Twankey, the show also stars newcomers Jess Smith as Princess Jasmine and Alex Aram as Aladdin.


Aladdin is directed by Chantelle Nolan, musical direction by Callum Clarke, choreography by Nazene Langfield and written by Liam Mellor.

  • Dates: Saturday the 2nd of December 2023 – Sunday the 14th of January 2024.

  • Tickets: From £21* (Schools’ tickets £11*).

*All prices are inclusive of a £1 per seat booking fee. Online bookings are subject to an additional 50p per seat online processing fee.
