El Kiddo Is Heading To Liverpool After Major Sell-Out Success In Ibiza & Dubai With An Event In The Dome At Grand Central Hall Starring A High-Energy Line Up Of Talented Tribute Bands & Artists, Plus Local Star Harry MC
A Young DJ who has been a major hit in Ibiza and Dubai brings family event to iconic city centre venue for Halloween.
Aged just 17, DJ and music innovator Harrison McDonald, known as Harry MC, has already enjoyed the type of career that many could only dream of. After a sell-out Summer in Ibiza, running his own hugely successful family event called ‘El Kiddo’ based at the island’s famous Bam Bu Ku, following a popular run in Dubai, Harry is now bringing this music-based extravaganza to Liverpool’s noted live events venue, The Dome at Grand Central Hall, on Saturday the 28th of October 2023.
El Kiddo will bring to Harry’s hometown a family party like no other, with off-the-wall entertainment and a high-energy line up of talented tribute bands and artists including Rachel Fulleras as Dua Lipa, Kate Blakey as Katy Perry, Hannah Thompson as Taylor Swift and Hannah Thomas as Ariane Grande.
'Having been a part of the music scene from a young age, I wanted to create something family-orientated so that children of all ages could enjoy their own club atmosphere but in an entirely age-appropriate setting.' - Harrison McDonald, known on-stage as Harry MC.
Harry will also be assisted by a talented group of DJs including Billie Clements, Robbie Edwards, Jazzy T, George Ferguson, Darcey Bennett and Kyle Quinn. The event will also retain some of the features it is known for in Ibiza, whilst adding some Halloween-themed treats.
With two sessions during the day:
The 12 Midday - 3pm event is reserved for children aged 1-8.
The 3pm - 6pm event aimed at youngsters aged 8-13.
Having been a DJ since the age of 11, and selling out venues since he was 13, Harry has also become well-known in the City for working at Jamie Webster gigs as well as the hugely popular Boss events, all in support of Liverpool Football Club’s devoted fans.
At just 12, Harry played in front of 2000 people at a Boss event in Barcelona, and then DJ’d for 60,000 people at the Champions League Final in the official fan park Madrid, in 2019, and then for 70,000 people at the Champions League Final official fans’ zone in Paris last year.

Harrison McDonald — Harry MC
Harrison McDonald, known on-stage as Harry MC, said: 'I feel it is a real honour to have been brought up around live music and cultural events. My dad, Barry, was a club promoter for Garlands back in the day, and he passed on to me a real work ethic. I attended DJ boot camps as soon as I was old enough to, and was lucky enough to go behind-the-scenes at some of the world’s most iconic clubs, to see how everything worked.'
Harry, said: 'For me, music and football are intertwined, so playing in front of such huge crowds, at two prestigious Champions League Finals in particular, has been a huge honour for me both as a DJ and as a football fan.'
He added: 'This year so far has already been a wild ride - after taking El Kiddo to Dubai I brought it back to Bam Bu Ku in Ibiza - this season had a ‘Mad Hatter’s Tea Party’ vibe, which gave us a season of sell-outs. Having been a part of the music scene from a young age, I wanted to create something family-orientated so that children of all ages could enjoy their own club atmosphere but in an entirely age-appropriate setting.'
He said: 'The Dome at Grand Central Hall had to be the perfect choice of venue for me. Having recently been refurbished to a world-class level, with a sound system and all of the amenities to match, it is the only place that I felt would be able to accommodate El Kiddo Events.'
Harry added: 'The Liverpool version of El Kiddo will take all of the elements of the Ibiza smash and bring them to my home city, a place which can party with the best of them. As well as DJ sets with mind-blowing club production standards, and our amazing tribute acts, our guests can also enjoy Ibiza-style entertainers. As it is Halloween, we also encourage fancy dress, with some prizes for the best-dressed, which Liverpool does so well.'
He said: 'The El Kiddo Liverpool debut will be something really special for me, and everyone who works to deliver this spectacular production, because it’s consolidating everything I have learned so far, and then bringing it home to my favourite city. Music is a family event on its own in my family, and I wanted to bring that all-inclusive feeling to families in Liverpool.'
Harry, said: '70% of tickets are now sold, so I would encourage anyone who is thinking of attending to make sure they are ready to snap up the rest. Kids and their parents and guardians having the best time is what El Kiddo at The Dome is all about - see you on the dancefloor!'
