McCooley's On Matthew Street In The Cavern Quarter Expands To House A Rooftop Bar On The Liverpool City Centre Street Famous For The Beatles
McCooley's on Mathew Street & Stanley Street in The Cavern Quarter of Liverpool City Centre has been a popular place for food and drink amongst people who have a love of sport and live music, since their opening in November 2017.
With all that said, did you know they had extended the site to include a rooftop terrace? With both visitors to the City and the people of Liverpool loving a good Rooftop Bar, then it will come as a delight to know that Liverpool City Centre has another Rooftop Bar, and a Rooftop Bar situated in the famous Mathew Street no less.
The venue which has a sister site on the other side of town in Concert Square is a popular destination with the Liverpool’s Irish Community, visitors to the City and students alike. Now from midday every weekend, while the sun is shining at least, you can enjoy a Guinness on the rooftop too.
June has been glorious so far and the rooftop is a hidden oasis in the heart of one of the busiest and liveliest streets in the Liverpool City Region.
The City Centre rooftop has a capacity of over around 150 people, with General Manager of McCooley's, Pio Murray, saying: 'We will be opening the rooftop for weekends and for bank holidays for now. It’s going to be a great Summer of sports with the Ashes now underway, so it’s great we have some additional outdoor space to use across the Summer months.'
