BARNACLE Announces Special 4-Course Valentine’s Day Menu At Their Duke Street Market Mezzanine Venue

Chef Paul Askew's Michelin Guide Recommended Scouse Brasserie collaboration with Chef Harry Marquart, Kieran Gill and Jake Lewis, have revealed their sumptuous 4-course Valentine’s Day Menu.


The esteemed restaurant has garnered a wealth of excitement since opening in December 2021 and they plan on making their second Valentine's Day at the venue just as special as the first.


BARNACLE, situated in The East Village neighbourhood of Liverpool City Centre, are cultivating a unique spot in the heart of the Liverpool City Region as a place for Liverpudlians to go to enjoy a beautiful blend of casual fine-dining. All of which has garnered them yet another recent accolade, earning a spot in Harden’s Restaurants Guide 2023.


The Special Menu features Classic BARNACLE Dishes including New Liverpool Chowder and Spiced Peterhead Hake, as well as the new additions of Whitchurch Chicken and Rhubarb & Almond Tart.

The BARNACLE Team will lovingly prepare a delicious 4-course menu featuring some of the finest locally sourced ingredients from across The Six Boroughs of the Liverpool City Region as well as the fabulous surrounding provinces.

On Arrival

  • Chef’s Snacks & A Glass Of Henners Rose.


Starters

  • Whitchurch Chicken, Leek, Yuzu Miso & Chilli.

  • Growing Fields’ Beetroot, Endive, Shiso, Goat’s Curd & Celery.

  • New Liverpool Chowder, Smoked Haddock, Cockles, Samphire & Dill (GFA).


Mains

  • Cote De Boeuf, Mash, Roscoff Onion & Cavolo Nero.

  • Spiced Peterhead Hake, Jerusalem Artichoke, Growing Fields Rainbow Chard & Dashi.

  • Celeriac, Ormskirk Leeks, Connage Gouda & Smithy’s Mushrooms.


Pre Dessert:

  • Pavlova With Winter Berries.


Dessert:

  • Guanaja 70% Fondant, 92 Degrees Coffee.

  • Rhubarb & Almond Tart With Stem Ginger.

  • Selection Of Celtic Cheeses (£15 Supplement).
